Looking at existing buildings into a new perspective was due thanks to the generalization of Architectural heritage concept,  which has become synonymous with monument heritage, and also due to the increasing public awareness of its cultural, social and economic importance.

Promoters, designers and builders, inherently went aloug with this attitude.
